About Piranha Volleyball

For more than 11 years, the Missouri Mighty Piranhas have been building competitive volleyball athletes in Harrisonville Missouri through a program designed for growth, structure, and high-level play. We began as a competitive club organization, and that club foundation continues to be the driving force behind our training culture, expectations, and overall structure. In 2025, we expanded by adding a separate Homeschool Volleyball Program to serve the Cass & Jackson County area, offering families a fall-season option built with the same commitment to quality coaching and athlete development.

Today, the Missouri Mighty Piranhas is one organization with three distinct parts, each serving athletes in its own lane: Competitive Club Volleyball, Competitive Homeschool Volleyball, and Developing Players.

The Missouri Mighty Piranhas Program

​

Competitive Club Volleyball (Winter & Spring)

Our Club program is the centerpiece of the organization and the highest competitive platform we offer. Teams train and travel to compete against strong regional and national clubs, developing advanced systems, speed of play, and the mental toughness required to perform at a high level. The club side also sets the standard for how we train across the entire program.

Competitive Homeschool Volleyball (Fall)

Our Homeschool Program serves homeschool and private-school athletes who want a competitive team experience during the fall season through local leagues and select in-state and out-of-state tournaments. This program has its own identity and purpose, anchored by our homeschool motto: “Playing with Galatians 5:22–23.” We intentionally teach and reinforce the Fruits of the Spirit in the way athletes practice, compete, and represent their team.

Developing Players (Year-Round)

Our Developing Players pathway exists to help athletes grow at every stage, whether they are brand new to volleyball or sharpening skills for the next level. Training is structured, encouraging, and fundamentals-rich, with a clear progression in both skill and confidence.

Minnows (Grades 4–6)
A fun, fundamentals-first introduction focused on serving, passing, movement, and confidence.

​

Player Development Program (Grades 7–10)
Structured training that builds technique, footwork, and court IQ through intentional reps and coaching.

​

Summer Program (Grades 4–12)
A skills-focused off-season experience designed to prepare athletes of all levels through age-appropriate drills, performance training, and scrimmage opportunities.
